Meet Our Founders

We’re sisters who’ve been talking about how to make the world more equitable since we were kids. We decided to stop just talking about it with each other, and share actionable messages with others.

Before starting Equicratic, Zara worked at a large bank for her whole career, mainly in Human Resources. Her passion is working with diverse talent and helping advance the careers of the underrepresented. Zara currently resides in NYC.

Mariam is an attorney experienced in commercial litigation and dispute resolution. In her free time, Mariam volunteers, is active in philanthropy and enjoys spending time with her family.
